Our Holy Cross

During the spring, year two looked at the art and architecture of two local churches: Holy Cross Catholic Church and St. Mary Redcliffe CE Church. Using sketches from a field visit, children chose one image or symbol they would like to turn into a clay tile for a wall mural. The mural is seen ready for the final fire in the kiln and then to be mounted and displayed outside the classroom.
